Frogs go to Rockfield

19 November 2018
This is the first blog on our new website. We'll be hoping to put up all kinds of Froggy nonsense and adventure, if and when things crop up. A lot goes on behind the scenes, aka, getting four Frogs in the same place at the same time, and operating from the same hymnsheet.
The main thang is to have fun, once things get to be a bit of a drag, which sometimes it does, if that vibe keeps on going, it's time to call it a day. Luckily we've been able to enjoy many memorable gigs over a long period of time, and we can say the spark and enjoyment is still there bigtime. I'm just meandering here so I'll get to the point.

We are excited to have been invited to record some tunes at the legendary recording studio that is Rockfield in Monmouth. Rockfield are now offering recording courses and have been booked by the Atrium in Cardiff. It's a four day course  in which students will be able o get their hands on state of the art recording equipment such as Protools, and also the retro analogue gear on which the likes of Queen, Oasis, Mot the Hoople and many others recorded their greatest hits. Together with the Boogiemen we will be recording for two days, the Atrium supplying their own band for the other two days.

We've got plenty of new original songs to bring to the table, eleven that we have nailed, some are already in our giging set, and some still need a bit of tweeking.

Whatever happens we'll have a great laugh with the Boogiemen who are good friends of ours. Roll on and "STROLL ON" (Yep we'll be recording that one) January which is when it's kicking off. Bye for now AF.
